don't suppose you speak enough non-english to know how thye ended up with a wrecked ferrari? they buy it from a junkyard or they crash it themselves or what?

In France, they have specialized liscensed resellers for these crashed cars (not really a junk yard). He paid 14000 Euros (apx 18000 US$ for it). The car was sitting for 10 years.

the sitting part was evident, tons of surface rust. $18,000 seems like a win. get your dream car and have a hobby for 6 years.
